PMC’s unsuccessful App Launch: “Road Mitra”
The Pune Municipal Corporation launched ‘Road Mitra” app on 19th August 2025 which was crashed days later.
This was a great initiative by PMC, the purpose of Road Mitra was to increase accountability and increase transparency towards pune citizens.
Immediate App crash caused inconvenience of updating videos and photos, due to technical glitch in the app.
Today, 29th August 2025 Pune Municipal Commissioner Mr. PrithviRaj BP acknowledged glitches and poor performance of the Road Mitra App. He also clarified that prime error is with uploading videos on the app. Further he has assured that all pending grievances will be addressed by the regional ward office. Civic body also assured that app glitches are temporary and Road Mitra App will be relaunched soon.
Meanwhile, citizens can still register their complaints via previous methods which were the PMC Care App, Mail and PMC official website.
