As per latest update by Shrawan Hardiker, Pune metro running timeline is extended for Ganesh bhakta travelling from all across city area. Maharashtra Metro Railway corporation has decided to extend metro timeline to 20 Hours on 30th August to 5th September.
During Ganesh Festival many devotees come to see decoration in large numbers, considering that fact Maharashtra Metro Railway corporation has decided to keep metro running until 2am in the morning. Also Maharashtra Metro Railway corporation has decided to keep metro running for 41 Hours on the day of Visarjan i.e. Anant Chaturti. I believe these are some great and thoughtful steps taken Maharashtra Metro Railway corporation to ensure smooth Ganesh Festival Celebration.
